Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, the gardeners are paired in teams of two and work a set number of clients on a rolling schedule, as well as one off planting jobs as they arise.

  • The job is varied servicing a variation of garden types and calls for a strong background in gardening.

  • The Gardeners work closely with the Landscaping team and there is the opportunity to gain experience working alongside our Contracts Manager on the landscaping team as well.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong horticultural knowledge is a must and we will be looking for candidates with practical experience in a similar role, as well as an academic horticultural background.

  • Excellent command of spoken English

  • We expect all of our gardeners to have strong communication skills, strong written English, be well presented, polite, hardworking and ultimately maintain our high level of client care.

  • Working within this small and friendly team, this hire must be a team player at heart, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be happy to muck in and help out!

  • Full UK driving license is also a must.
